Rowen and Sage both stood back to back as the mutants surrounded them. The mutants formed a circle around them, blocking any means of escape. Claws extended and tails swaying from side to side they stood ready for the two Ronins’ attack. “Got any ideas genius?” Sage asked as he darted his eyes back and forth looking; watching them.

Rowen smirked some at his comment, “Not at the moment, but I’ll get back to you when I do.”

“Well I hope that’s soon.”

“Yea, and so do I.” Rowen unconsciously replied as he looked around. He studied them, trying to find a weakness or a way out. Not finding one he sighed and gave up. “Sorry to tell ya this buddy but..... we’re screwed.”

Sage smirked and rolled his lavender gray eyes. “The hell we are. If we can defeat Talpa than we can take down some over grown reptiles.”

“Well we may have to sooner than you think.”

“Why do you say that, Ro?”

“Because they’re about to attack us!” Rowen said as one of the mutants jumped in the air with its claws extended, ready to fight.

Sage and Rowen got ready to block it. Just before its claws reached them a silver nun-chuck came flying out of no where and struck the mutant. With a scream of pain it fell to the ground.

“You two so owe me.” Christine stated as she held one of her nun-chucks in her left hand and grabbed the other one as it came flying back at her. Rowen smiled, relived he was ok.

“Thanks Christine.”

Christine waved it off with a smile, “No problem. Who else is gonna save your sorry butts?”

“Where’s Katie?” Sage asked, trying to keep an argument from starting. “Isn’t she with you?”

“No, her and fire boy are still going at it.” Christine stated and with a wave of her hand gestured over to the still arguing siblings.

“Well, that’s just peachy! And we need their help too!” Kento commented as he and Cye ran up to them.

“Are they still arguing?” Cye’s British voice asked.

“Yea, those two are still at it.” Christine answered nonchalantly like it happened all the time.

Kento growled and crossed his arms, “Come on you two stop arguing and grow up!”

Ryo and Katie were still arguing as the others were fighting. It seemed like to the others that they were never going to stop. Back and forth they bickered and bantered, completely clueless to the fight that was going on around them.

“Huh? Was that Kento I just heard?” Ryo asked.

Katie looked over at them and saw the mutants, smirking to herself she turned back to her brother. “Yes, oh fearless leader it was. Why don’t ya take a look at what’s going on?” She said and pointed to the Ronins, Christine and the mutants that seemed to come from everywhere.

“Oh, gods what’s going on?”

“Not to state the obvious, but I think a fight is.”

Ryo pulled out his red orb and called forth his sub-armor. “Look, this conversation is far from over, Katie. After the fight we’re going to continue this, got it?”

Katie saluted him and nodded, “Yes, ma’am.... I mean sir. Got cha.”

Ryo smirked some and ran over to the others. Smirking some to herself she pulled out her silver and gold armor orb.

“I’ll show him.” She said as she was going to call forth her sub-armor. She never got the chance. Before she could, one of the mutants attacked her. Leaping up in the air it extended its claws and bared its teeth. Katie turned around just before he came down on her. Out of no where two strong-arms wrapped around her and got her out of the way. Opening her eyes she met eyes with pale green ones. The strong arms gently set her sown and then retracted from her. She blinked confusedly at the person in front of her.

He had brown hair streaked blond. He was well built and wearing black pants, a black muscle shirt and black combat boots. "You ok?” She heard the person ask her. She blinked some and nodded. She thought she saw him smile, but decided it was just her imagination. “You need to call forth your armor.” The person spoke again. She nodded again.

“Right.” She said and held her silver and gold armor orb in her hands. Closing her eyes a silver and gold light engulfed her and then was gone. The light faded and Katie stood in her silver and gold armor sub-armor. “Hey, thanks, pal .....” She started as she looked back over where the guy was just to find he wasn’t there. “Huh strange.”

Sage watched as he unknown person grabbed Katie and pulled her out of the way of danger. A sense of jealousy came over him as he watched him talking to her. Snapping out of his jealous thoughts he looked over at Ryo who was running over to them. “Hey Ryo, who’s the guy talking to Katie?”

“Huh?” Ryo said as he looked over at her and saw the mysterious guy. “I don’t know.”

“Do you think he could be an enemy?” Cye asked. “Could be Cye.” Rowen answered.

“Look.” Christine said as she watched Katie call forth her sub-armor and the guy disappear.

“That’s all nice and everything but may I remind you all that we still have company to entertain.” Kento said as he pointed with his thumb over at the mutants that were advancing on them.

“Kento’s right. Let’s go, Ronins to arms!” Ryo shouted the command and everyone minus Christine followed it.

Armor of the Wildfire..... Dao Jin!

Armor of the Halo ... Dao chi!

Armor of the Torrent.... Dao Shin!

Armor of the Hardrock.... Dao Gi!

Armor of the Strata.... Dao Inochi!

Calling out their call to arms the Ronins were engulfed in a swirl of cherry blossoms and lights. Christine stood and watched. She liked watching them call forth their armors, it was fun. The mutants stopped and watched. Not sure what was going on. When the lights faded and cherry blossoms stopped all five Ronins stood in full body armor. Ryo unsheathed his katanas and pointed them at the mutants. Cye stood with his yari in hand. Sage twirled his nodatchi and laid cold lavender gray eyes on the mutants. Kento spun his nanjinta and smirked at them. Rowen notched an arrow.

“Very cool, you guys.” Christine said as she looked at them.

“But we can do so much better.” Katie said from behind them. “What do ya say, Chris?”

“Do I have to answer that? Come on say the magic words.” Christine said as a goofy smile formed on her lips.

“You got it. Heavens and Planet Guardians to arms!” Saying the magic words Christine and Katie both then started to transform. “Crescent Star armor.... ti tao Jin!” Katie shouted.

“Planet Star armor ...ti Kao gi!” Christine shouted.

Saying her call to arms Katie was engulfed in silver and gold lights. Gold and silver stars started to fly around her. Tight fitting armor formed on her body, showing off every curve on her body. The armor looked similar to her sub-armor except it had silver and gold stars etched into the armor. The armor was gold with a silver outlining. A silver halo with a gold star sat on her head. A gold star was on her forehead with what looked like shooting stars falling away from it. Opening her eyes she reached back and unsheathed her katanas from her back.

Upon calling forth her armor, Christine was engulfed in silver and light blue lights. All nine planets began to swirl around her as tight fitting armor formed on her body. Light blue armor with a silver outlining. Instead of stars all the planets were etched into her armor. A silver halo with a blue planet was on her head. The planet Jupiter was on her forehead with the other eight planets on either side of it. Once again her nun-chucks formed in her hands.

“All right, now lets kick some honey buns!” Christine shouted as she twirled her nun-chucks in her hands.

“I’m with ya all the way, Chris. Let’s have some fun!” Katie added as she too, twirled her katanas.

The five Ronins and two Heavens and Planet Guardians stood ready to fight the mutants who looked not at all impressed by them. Before the battle could even get started clapping could be heard.

“Bravo, I simply love the way you all call forth your armors.” The mysterious man said and looked over at Christine and Katie, liking what he saw. “Especially you, Heavens and Planet Guardians.”

Ryo saw the look he was giving his little sis and didn’t like it. Stepping in front of her he said, “Who are you and what do you want?”

The mysterious guy smiled some and chuckled, “I’m simply here on my own free will. I wanted to see you Guardians and Ronins fight. I especially came to see the Guardians though.” He cockily smiled in Katie’s direction and then smirked at Ryo. “Hot little sis you got there, Wildfire. Wouldn’t want her ending up in the wrong hands.”

“¡Quisiera verle intentar y tirar algo en mí usted agujero mudo grande del asno!” Katie, the young Latino, angrily shouted at him.

“And just what is that supposed to mean?” Christine shouted at him, very annoyed by him.

“Exactly how it sounds, sweetheart.” He replied as he coolly smiled at her. “Now then, I think I’ve chatted enough. Have fun and I hope you all don’t suffer too, much when you die.” He said and then blew a kiss at Christine and Katie before disappearing.

Katie smirked and rolled her blue eyes as she placed her hands on her hips and looked around at the mutants that were still there. “What do ya say we take these mutant rejects down so we can go home already?” She asked impatiently.

Christine twirled her nun-chucks and got ready to fight, “I’m with ya all the way, Katie.”

“Yea, lets get this over with so we can go home and eat.” Kento added earning him a lot of eye rolls and sighs.

“Yea, well Christine and me can take care of this.” Katie said as she grabbed her katanas and rushed one of the mutants. “¡muévalo Christine! Move it!”

“Right behind ya!” Christine said as she grabbed her weapon and rushed the mutants.

“Well, how do you like that? They’ve already rushed into battle while we sit here and wait for the cue from our fearless leader to start fighting,” Rowen said mockingly. Ryo glared at him and was going to say something when it hit him that his sister and Christine were fighting the mutants by themselves. Unsheathing his katanas from his back he gave the signal to fight and the fight was on between mutants, Ronins and Guardians.

While the Ronins and guardians were fighting the mutant reptiles, the person who sent them sat at his throne watching the battle unfold before him. “Yes, that’s it. Take them down.” He said to himself as he sipped at his wine.

He had silver white hair that was short and hung rigged like around his face. Silver gray eyes watched the images in front of him. He wore white pants with a white button up long sleeved jacket type shirt. A white cape with red on the inside was on his back. White boots were on his feet completing his outfit. He smiled some and lifted his wineglass up to the image as he watched them defeat the mutants on by one.

“Congrats on your first victory against me.” He said as he took another sip of his wine. “That’s just the beginning though. Oh yes, just the beginning.” He set his wine down on the armrest of his throne and absently fiddled with the diamond earring that dangled from his ear.

“Your excellence, phase one has been accomplished.” He said as he bowed and then stood to look at him. His midnight blue-black hair dangled some in his eyes as he looked intently at him. He shared some physical features with the silver gray haired man. The only thing that was different was the eyes and hair. He had midnight blue eyes instead of silver gray and blue-black hair. He wore the same kin of clothes as the other guy did; instead his were a dark blue with no cape. He also had black fingerless gloves on. His majesty seemed to be pleased with hearing that.

He smiled at him, “Well done, Zay.” He spoke to the younger guy. Zay lowered his head to acknowledge his compliment.

“Thank you, your majesty. It was easy to do.”

“Yes, as I thought it would be. Phase one may be complete, but that’s only one part in our plan. Wizard show yourself and report on how things are going.” As commanded of him he came forth.

Wearing black and gray robes he bowed before him and stood. “Yes, your majesty?”

“Yes, how are you doing on your part of this plan?”

The old wizard smiled as he waved a robed arm and a crystal ball appeared. “Things are going just as planned. The nightmares are working very well I think. She has every one of them worried about her and soon she will start to distance herself from them. When that happens it will be very easy to nab her.” The wizard finished as he waved a hand over the crystal ball in front of him. As he did, it seemed to come to life and shine with millions of different colors.

The majesty nodded his head as he listened. He seemed to be very pleased with what he heard. “Well done old man. Keep doing what you’re doing. Sooner or later she will crack.”

“There could potentially be one little problem your majesty.”

“And what would that be, Wizard?”

“Ceto has come into this dimension to help her. He could pose as a threat.”

“Hmmm .....” He said as he thought. “Ceto huh? Well, we’ll just have to teach that traitor a lesson then won’t we?”

“Yes, your majesty.” The wizard said. Fool, he has no idea what will happen if Ceto succeeds in reawakening her and the Planet guardian’s memory. The wizard thought as he looked at his crystal ball. Zay watched the old wizard curiously, wondering what he was thinking about. He didn’t trust him one bit. Something about him made him think otherwise.

Back with the Ronins and guardians the battle between them and the mutants had ended. All of them had succeeded in killing each and every one of them. Recalling their armor and sub-armor they surveyed the damage.

“Lucky for us, we didn’t scratch any of the cars.” Rowen said as he looked over the vehicles.

“Yea, big deal.” Christine said as she walked towards the car.

“deja para salir de aquí. Let’s get out of here.” Katie said as she too, walked towards the car.

“I think you ladies have the right idea, for once.” Kento added as he ran to the car.

Katie hit him when he reached the car. “¿Cuáles eran usted que decía el asno mudo?”

“OW! What was that for?” Kento said as he rubbed his head.

“I think, roughly translated, she asked you what you had said and then called you a dumb ass.” Christine said.

Ryo, followed by the others walked over to the car just then. “Ok, children in the car and try to behave.” He said as he ushered them into the car.

“Yea, yea shove it, Ryo.” Christine said as she got in and they all drove off.
