DAY OF DESTINY
CHAPTER 1

It started out like any other normal night at the Ronins’ house. Katie and Ryo were sitting together on the couch next to Rowen (who was reading a book) and Kento was sitting on the floor snacking on some chips, left over pizza and cookies as usual. Sai was sitting in the chair nearest to the T.V. and Sage was sitting in the other chair. White blaze and Raza (who is Katie's tiger) were in the floor next to Katie’s and Ryo’s feet. It was a very normal night.( I guess your probably wondering who Katie is right. Well let me tell you. Katie Maxwell is her name and being beautiful is her game. Katie is a Ronin Warrior too! Her armor is the armor of Wildwind! Pretty cool huh! I bet you can probably guess that Katie and Ryo are a couple too right! Well yah. Katie is actually drop dead gorgeous and every boy in her school wants to go out with her! She has long brownish blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes!! She also has a great personality and a cute smile!! Well, enough about Katie let’s get back to the story huh.) Like I was saying everyone was watching Wheel of Fortune and playing along with the contestants "Come on buy a vowel!" shouted Rowen, " It’s let sleeping dogs lie!" "Oh come on your not that stupid are you!?" shouted Katie from Ryo’s lap. " Come on just say it you know what it is! You know what it is!" Then the phone rang. " I got it!" Katie shouted as she jumped out of Ryo’s lap and ran to get the phone.

"Like anyone would dare stand your way to get the phone!" mocked Sage. Some of the guys laughed, but Katie just ignored him and picked up the phone. " Hello!" she said as she answered the phone. " Yah hey, cuz what’s up?" came a voice from the other end.

"Oh, hey Ash, nothing much just sitting around watching T.V. with the guys." answered Katie.

"Oh, well did you forget about cheerleading practice tonight?" asked Ashley.

" Oh my god I totally forgot! Let me get my stuff and I'll be right there!" shouted Katie from the other end.

" K, but you had better hurry!" said Ashley. "All right later!" and with that she both hung up the phone and ran to get her stuff.

"Hey where’s the fire!?" mocked Sage.

"Cheerleading practice, be back later!" and with that she ran out the door, hopped in her mustang go and took off.

" What did she say?" asked Ryo.

" I think she said that she had cheerleading practice and had to go." answered Rowen who had just put down his book.

" Oh." Ryo and Sage both said at the same time. " That’s just like her to forget something like that!" Sage said and they all laughed and turned back to watch the rest of the Wheel of Fortune.

"Oh my god how could I have ever forgotten about cheerleading practice!" Katie yells at herself as she stops at the front of the school. She parked her car and ran to the locker rooms.

"She's so beautiful I have to have her for myself! a man with dark brown hair and brown eyes said as he watched Katie from mirror in his castle.

"But sir what if she doesn't want to be with you?" another man from behind him said as he watched Katie too.

"Silence!" he screamed and the other man shuttered. "It doesn't matter if she does or doesn't she will be mine.

"Yes, sir whatever you want." the other man said and then turned and walked out of the room.

"Hahmm." he kind of laughed to his self. "Yes she will be mine!"

back with Katie

"Ok there we go and now one more shoe and I am out of here." Katie said to herself as she tied her shoes and ran out to meet the other girls. "Hey everyone! Sorry I'm late," she said as she came running up to them.

"That's ok Katie, everyone does it sometime." Susan, one of the girls on her cheerleading squad said.

"Yah don't worry about it." Kathy, another girl on her squad said.

"Thanks girls, I won't be late again." Katie said as she started to stretch.

"Yah, next time you just won't come at all." Courtney mocked as she came over to where Katie was standing.

"Very funny Courtney, like you’re never late." Katie said back.

"Yah your right, I have never been late have I?" Courtney said back.

"Come on girls lets get forget about this and just get back to practicing, ok!" Ashley said hoping this would stop the argument before it got worse.

"Yah ok, whatever you say Ashley," Courtney said and walked away.

"Sometimes I want to pound her face in." Katie said as she was clenching her hand into a fist.

"Hey calm down ok, I don't want you to get kicked off the squad because you got into a fight. You're the best one on this team everyone knows that. Even Courtney knows that. That's why she wants to get you really mad and hit her," Ashley said as they started to move into position.

"Yah you’re right I can't let her get to me. I have to just keep my mind on what I'm here for, to cheer my ass off and while I'm doing that I have to look happy and like I want to be here." Katie said as she got ready to start cheering.

"Yah that's right." Ashley said as she tried not to laugh out loud.

Cheerleading practice ended and everyone waved and said goodbye. Katie stayed after to practice a little more. As she was practicing she got the feeling that some one was watching her. She turned around just to find that no one was in sight, or at least she thought. "Huh, come on Katie pull it together. You're a Ronin Warrior and the whole dynasty fears you. You have nothing to fear." She laughed out loud as she said this to herself. Then she grabbed her stuff and walked towards her car. As soon as she reaches the car that same feeling came back. This time it felt really close. "Who's there!" she shouted and turned around to find that once again no one was there, or at least no one that she could see.

Katie got in her car and took off for home. "Should I tell the guys about the weird feelings I've been having lately?" Katie thought to herself out loud. "Nah its no big deal." 10 min. later she was pulling in to the driveway, parking her car and walking inside.

"Hey baby!" Ryo said as he came up to her and kissed her. "How was practice?"

"You don't want to know." Katie answered and put on that face like it didn't go well.

"That bad huh." Rowen had just know entered the room just in time to see Katie's "it didn't go well" face.

"Yah, Courtney started right in on me and I was sure that I was going to end up giving her a black and blue eye and a bloody nose or getting on my Wildwind armor and blasting her in to oblivion!"

They all had to laugh at that one and Katie smiled a bit too. Then she grabbed her stuff and headed for her room. She wanted to hurry up and get first dibs on the bathroom before Sage did. The last time she almost killed him because he took almost 3 hours in the bathroom telling himself how handsome he was. She smiled a bit at the thought and continued to get her stuff around. She went to the bathroom and jumped in the shower. 20 min. later she was in her PJs and in her bed. It had been a long day and Katie was really tired.

"Hey where'd Katie go? asked sage and looked around trying to find her.

"I think she went to bed," answered Sai who had just finished baking some cookies.

"Yah those people work her to hard at practice and she usually just goes to bed after she gets home," answered Ryo who was now trying to grab a cookie before Kento ate all of them.

"Hey Kento save some for Katie. I made her favorite and she won't get any if you eat all of them," Sai said as he hit Kento's hand as he tried to get another cookie.

"Oh, come on Sai. Just one more." Kento whined.

"No!" Sai shouted at him.

Then they all laughed out loud at the face Kento put
on.

In Katie's room sometime late at night

It was late at night and all the Ronins had gone to bed. Katie was fast asleep in her bed dreaming about pounding Courtney one. None of them noticed the figure that was coming up the stairs heading for Katie's room. Raza was asleep next to Katie in the bed. The dark figure opened the door and walked in. Raza did not wake up to warn her of what was now almost next to her. The figure leaned over and took his hand and put it on her face. Instead of his hand touching her face it went right through it as if he were a ghost. Katie kind of turned a little bit and he could see her face more clearly now. He smiled and bent to kiss her but went right through her.

Katie feeling a presence next to her sat straight up in bed and the figure disappeared in to the darkness of the night. "What was that?" Katie said to her self. Raza had woken up and seeing Katie siting up in her bed came over and licked her face. Katie turned to her and put her arms around her. "I'm ok Raza. Thanks for caring," she said to the large tiger next to her. Raza seemed to know that and went back to sleep. A few min later Ryo got out of bed and went down the hallway to the bathroom. On his way back he looked in to Katie's room and seeing that she was sitting up in bed came in to see what was wrong.

"Hey Katie are you ok?" Ryo asked with concern in his voice. He came over and sat down next to her.

"Yah. I just thought I felt something in my room and woke up. That's all," she answered and put on a smile.

"Oh. Well, do you want me to sleep in here with you tonight?" Ryo asked hoping she would say yes.

"No, that's ok and besides if Mia walked in my room in the morning and saw you in here with me she would have a fit." Katie answered and tried not to smile.

"Yah I guess your right. Well I guess I had better get back to my room then. Goodnight." and with that he gave her a long kiss and went out the door to his room.

Katie kind of sat there for a moment with her eyes closed. Then she opened them and wished that she had told him to stay. She didn't care what Mia said. She wanted Ryo right then. She had thought about going and getting Ryo or sleeping in his room but then decided against it. She laid back down and closed her eyes and tried to remember the first time Ryo had kissed her. Thinking of this she smiled and fell back asleep.

Somewhere else

"I almost got to touch her. To watch her sleeping, she's so beautiful when she's sleeping." The dark haired man said as he watched Katie sleeping in his mirror. "One day she will be mine. Her beauty and her power." Hah, hah, hah.
