"Hey do you want to take my car or your car?" Katie asked when they were out side.

"I guess I’ll take my car." Ryo answered.

"Ok that’s fine with me." Katie answered and started walking towards his car. Ryo had a 2000 red Pontiac Trans Am. (Don’t know if its actually a car just thought it sounded cool.) Katie actually liked it. "So where are you taking me?" She asked and smiled as she got in the car.

"That’s a surprise." Was all Ryo said and then leaned over and kissed her.

"Ok that works for me." She said and looked at him. She was just about to kiss him when... her cell phone started ringing and she answered it. "Hello."

"Yah hi Katie. What's up?" Came an all too familiar voice from the other end. It was Ashley.

"Nothing much I’m just on a date with Ryo that’s all." Katie answered sarcastically.

"Ohh well I don’t want to ruin the evening so I’ll just call you later ok?" Ashley said in a kind of I’m- sorry -I -called -voice.

"Yah ok that would be better. Ok later." And they both hung up. "That Ashley, she always picks the worst times to call me." Katie said and looked at Ryo. "I’m sorry She spoiled the moment." She said and gave him her all to famous "sad face."

"That’s ok we still have the whole night." Ryo said and started the car. They drove to an Italian restaurant. It was little, but very pretty inside. He parked the car and they got out and headed for the door. They walked in and Katie was amazed by how beautiful it was. They took a seat near a window that had a picture of two people seated at a table holding hands with a candle in the middle of the table.

"This place is beautiful." Was all Katie could think of to say as she looked around at everything.

"It’s almost as beautiful as you." Ryo said and looked at her and smiled. Katie turned her head to look at him and blushed. The waiter came and took their orders. Katie ordered spaghetti and a Mountain Dew. Ryo also ordered spaghetti, but with a Pepsi.

Their food came and they ate and talked and laughed. Katie was having a great time and didn’t want it to end. She loved sitting they’re looking into Ryo’s eyes and laughing and talking with him. They didn’t get to spend a lot of time together and when they did she enjoyed it.

They paid for their food and walked out to the car. When they got to the car ryo pulled Katie in to his arms and kissed her. Katie looked at him and smiled. He smiled back and they both got in the car.

"Now where are we going?" Katie asked him.

"Where ever you want to go." Ryo answered and started the car.

Katie thought for a moment and then said, "Why don’t we go to the beach." Katie loved the beach and knew it was the perfect romantic spot.

"Ok it’s your choice." Ryo said and pulled out of the parking lot. On the way Katie got a strange feeling like someone or something was watching her. She ignored it and looked over at Ryo. He looked so cute in his tan khakis and dark blue shirt. She smiled to herself and looked out the window.

A little while later they were pulling in to the parking lot and heading down to the beach. Ryo put his arm around her as they walked along the beach. They were walking along bare foot as the ocean lapped at there feet. Then Ryo splashed Katie and Katie splashed him back and took off running. Ryo took off after her and caught up with her. Then he grabbed around her waist and picked her up and swung her around. Finally he got too dizzy and both fell to the ground laughing. It was great she felt like a kid again.

When she finally stopped laughing she looked up at the sky. "Its so beautiful out tonight isn’t it." She said and looked over at Ryo.

"Yah it is." He answered kind of dreamily.

"Yah know I wonder if the stars could talk what they would say." Katie said and then looked over at Ryo.

"Well I never really thought about that much, but I bet if they could they would have a lot to say." He said and looked over at Katie. Their eyes meet and for a minute they just stared at each other. Then Katie busted out laughing.

"What’s so funny?"

"I don’t know I just felt like laughing right then." She answered and then Ryo began to laugh too.

Somewhere else

"Well what’s the plan kayo?" Shanz asked. He was about 5’6 with dark blue spiky hair and green eyes.

"Well this is who we’re after." A mirror appears showing them Katie and where she is.

Shanz whistles. "What a looker."

"Yah I know." Kayo answered and stared at the image.

"Men are so pathetic." A women about 5’5 with shoulder length black hair and piercing green eyes said. Her name was Kaniesha.

"No one asked for your comment Kaniesha!" Kayo retorted.

"Whatever!"

"Right now she’s on a date with Ryo of wildfire." Kayo continued. "This would be the perfect time to attack her."

"I agree." Shanz answered still staring at the image. "We could catch her off guard and easily capture her."

"I don’t know." Kaniesha added. "I’ve heard about her. She’s supposed to be very strong. I don’t think it would be that easy."

"What are you talking about Kaniesha she’s just a girl." Shanz replied now looking at Kaniesha.

"Girl yes but a Ronin, princess, and has a secret power." Kaniesha replied now looking at the image.

"Whatever Kaniesha if you don’t want to come than don’t." Kayo spat at Kaniesha.

"Fine then I won’t!" Kaniesha yelled back.
"Fine! Come on Shanz!" Kayo yelled and then disappeared.

"Right behind you." Shanz said and then disappeared too.

"Fools. She’s gonna kick their butts." Looks at the image and laughs.

back with Katie

Ryo and Katie are lying on the beach looking at the sky. "Katie can I ask you something." Turns to Katie looking very concerned.

"Yah what is it?" Turns her head to look at him.

"Well the guys and me think something's wrong with you. So umm... are you ok?"

"Yah I’m just fine."

"Well you won’t be for long."

"What!" Jumps to her feet and takes a fighting stance. "Who are you?"

"Who’s there?" Gets to his feet and takes a fighting stance also.

Appears in front of Katie. "I’m kayo and that’s Shanz." Points to Shanz who’s in front of Ryo.

"What do you want?" She spat at them.

"Ohh feisty are you well we’ll see about that once we’re threw with you." Shanz said as a twisted smile appeared on his face.

"Shanz calm down." Looks at Katie again. "Are lord is very interested in you and sent us here to get you." A smile appearing on his face.
"Well that’s too bad cuz I'm not going anywhere with you!" She spat back at them as her as darted from Shanz to kayo and back at Shanz.

"We thought you’d say that." Shanz said and smirked.

"Ohh but I think you are." And with that he lunged forward towards Katie, but was knocked backwards by Ryo.

"She’s not going anywhere!" He yelled at them.

Kayo gets up from where he’d fallen and smirks. "Nice kick. How bout I return it with this!" Punches Ryo in to Shanz who kicks him and sends him flying backwards.

"Ryo noo!" Runs over to Ryo and kneels beside him. "Say something!"

"Be careful." Is all he could say before he passes out.

"Opps, maybe I shouldn’t have kicked him so hard." Smirks and starts to laugh.

"You’re gonna pay for that!" Gets up and turns around. Her kanji glowing brightly on her forehead.

"Ohh I’m shaking."

"You will be." Smirks and takes her sandals off. "You made a bad decision by doing that."

"Ohh really? What are you gonna do about it?"

"This!" Does a spin kick knocking him backwards and off balance. Then punches him in the stomach and deals him a few blows to the head. Finally deals him the last blow kicking him backwards and then skidding to a stop on the ground unconscious.

Turns to Kayo eyes a dark blue with hatred. "Now it’s your turn!" Slams a fist in to his face knocking him off balance. Tries to punch him again but he dodges it. Wipes the blood from his mouth and smirks.

"Well your better than I thought." Comes at her with punches and kicks that she dodges with ease. Than she brings her knee up planting it in his stomach and then does a back flip kick sending him backwards landing on the ground. Lands on her feet with ease and looks down at him and smirks.
"Is that the best you got?" Stands up and stares at her in shock. How could one girl defeat both Shanz and me with ease and not even break a sweat?

"Well is it?" Starting to get agitated.

"No!" Fires a blast at her. She brings her arms in front of her and braces herself. Nothing happened. Looks up and sees that a shield of some kind is in front of her.

No way! She couldn’t have! She’s not even wearing her armor! Smirks. "Huh you didn’t even touch me." Stares at her in shock not knowing what to say. Finally he runs over to Shanz and helps him up.

"I’ll be back you can count on that!" And with that he turned and both disappeared.
