Forever Suiko

Chapter 4 Harassment and Humiliation

The nurse asked, “What’s your name, young one?”

Sai turned his head away, closing his eyes. Mrs. Mori answered for him, “He’s Sai Mori. I’m Mrs. Mori. We’re here…”

Nurse: “Oh yes, right this way, please.”
After few minutes, she warned: “No ‘visitors’ allowed to here. You four boys go to the waiting room.”

Sage confirmed, “I’m Mrs. Date’s son. She allows me here.”

Kento hissed at Sage: “WHY YOU LITTLE TWE…!”

She nodded, “Very well, Mr. Date.” Kento stared as they walked on. Sai looked back, giving him a pleading look. Something strange he knew was going to happen. Quickly, he followed them, hiding. Ryo and Ro decided they better had wait.
“This way… you could stay here, Mr. Date.” Sai was led to an unhappy, smelly room. He wished he could forget this whole thing and not even has gone. The nurse took out some equipment from the cabinet and then gave a look-so-“ “ smile. Sai just frowned back, kicking the legs of the table he was on.
“The doctor is in another room across the hall, preparing for you. He wants me to tell you to put on this robe and then bring you to the room.” The nurse handed his mom the robe and then waited in a corner. His mother handed him the robe and was going to help him undress till Sai, sternly, said: “Get her OUT.”

Mother: “She’s a nurse, Sai. She’s doing what she has to.”

Sai repeated, “Get HER OUT.”

The nurse replied, sweetly, “Oh, you don’t want me to watch. Okay, I’ll wait for you outside.” She went out, smirking.
Sai undid his clothes and put on the robe. It was dreadfully cold in just that robe. That robe was only a ‘clear’ sheet with two holes for the arm and a string to tie. But Sai withstood it for it was his element. Then, he softly asked, “Mom… is it a good idea you follow me?”

Mother: “I’ve seen you naked since you were born, Sai.”

Sai: “I know but…”

Nurse burst in, “Come. He wants you now… and of course your mom doesn’t have to follow. She could wait with the gentlemen, Mr. Date.”
Right when he was led to the room, which the doc was in, the door shut suddenly… too suddenly for comfort. He saw a note, which read: I’ll be there in just a minute. Lay on the table, open.” He didn’t understand the open part put he laid on the table.
Sage grumbled: “This is NO good. I can’t let him be there ALONE.” He decided that he could use his ‘Pass’ that his mom gave him and get in for a closer state.

Kento harshly hissed, “Sage! Over here!”

Sage: “Kento, you’re not suppose to be…”

Kento hushed him, “I know. But I don’t think Sai is going to be all right in there. Please Sage, I NEED to follow you.”

Sage grumbled, “Okay, but you HAVE to stay with me and no trouble.” Kento nodded and they headed to the hallway.
They crept and peeked through all of the rooms and charts. But with more than a hundred rooms in that section, it seemed impossible! Kento suddenly had an idea, “Sage, let’s for a change look at the signs. Which could Sai possibly be in? We have to be smart.”

Sage looked up at the signs then thought: “If I were to harass or hurt Sai, where would I take him?”
Taking a lot of minutes while Sage and Kento looked, Sai shouted, “I’M NOT HERE TO BE LOOKED UP AS CUTE! I’m ONLY here for a quick check-up!”

The nurse touched him and smuggled, “Well, that’s NOT what your mom only put you in as. It’s a full look-up I should say.”

Doctor: “Extension light, gloves, and that tray, please.”

The nurse sung it out, “YESSIR.” She purred.
Kento: “NOW the only possibilities are these, Sage… Sage? You there?”

Sage mumbled and shook his head intensely, “NOT RIGHT. None of those possibilities can be right. And I’m a hundred percent sure he’s NOT in the check-up rooms.”

Kento challenged, “Then WHERE, Mr. Smart-Aleck? Oh yeah, if he’s not a youth [puberty] kid who will run off to an intensive care instead you know…”

Sage snapped his fingers and cried, “RIGHT, Kento. Thanks. Now I could guess where and WHICH room he’s in. Come.” This statement he made and how Sage was able to figure puzzled Kento. Though he was for surely soon to find out. REALLY SOON.
Sage came to the end door and poked his ears to the door to listen. He was correct. Sai was in there all right. He heard a holler, then a squeal. Next, he heard some calm, smug words, which he knew offended Sai. “YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME! I CAN hurt you bad, Miss! I don’t want any part with you!”

Voice: “Oh, Sai. How sweet… nice under…”
Sage then hurried and ordered Kento, “You stay put here! I’m going for my Mom! No, you go and get Mrs. Mori!” Kento, without asking, sped as fast has his legs could to find Mrs. Mori as soon as possible.
A yelp came echoing then a harsh voice. Sage dashed down the stairs to where his Mom could possibly be. But she wasn’t there. After couple of these runs, Sage’s eyes became blurry and tearful and his face was red as a tomato. He bumped into a lady and flew over her, landing headfirst into the woman’s bathroom. The girls and ladies inside kicked him out, immediately without letting Sage say any of his apologies. But Sage knew time was various and he HAD to find his mom. He started to ask, but no one knew. Finally, at the last wing, he felt helplessly tired and he now thought he failed Sai now.
He tagged awhile and then plodded. Then, without any warning, he banged the wall and yelled… which sounded like a cry.

A voice gently, but quickly said: “All RIGHT, ALL RIGHT, Sage. You seem like someone hurt you. Who Sage?”

Sage turned sideways, seeing his mom with a big tray. He rushed to her and went into her arms, making her drop her tray… of food.
“SAGE! What in the whole wide world…” she began.

Sage started to explain, rapidly, “I’m not the one who is being hurt! SAI IS! You have to help me! If you don’t he’ll be…”

Sage’s mom crooned, “Little Sage, now speak slower. What is it? I’ll do anything you want me to.”

Sage said: “Mom, come with me to Wing 2. It’s far but I’ll explain along the way.”
Kento finally stopped looking, hopeless. He hit himself against the wall, then turned. The minute he did, he stepped on a toy rake and was bopped, making him stubble back. That was when he was launched into a toy playhouse. The kids and toddlers giggled and started to play around him like ‘Ring Around the Rosy.’

Kento rolled his eyes then a voice said: “I hope you know you’re too old to play IN a playhouse… a dollhouse that is.” Kento got up quickly, fastened his overall belt, and spoke: “Please, you have to come with me. Sai is in trouble!”

Mrs. Mori asked, “What kind?”

Kento stomped, “NO TIME TO EXPLAIN. COM’ ON!”
Sai was cornered in the room with the nurse and the doctor and the needle… which was filled with drugs he didn’t need. The drugs were to weaken and tire him… and loose all he had. Sai snarled, “Get AWAY from me, you people! I don’t need a check-up!”

The doc and nurse then attacked him. He was trapped. Nowhere to go. “No… please…”
Sai was stabbed with another needle, then another… and another. Those syringes poked him everywhere and unaided pokes caused him to start bleeding. Sai then flared mad enough that his temper exploded enormously. He gave them both a good kick and punched them both into onto the table, making the nurse hit the faucet and the doc fall in all of the needles. Then headed out to the stairs. But before he was able to stop, he tripped and fell down the stairs when Mrs. Mori and Kento saw him. Rolling down, headfirst, he crushed his head at the sharp stairs and his legs, helpless.
That was when Sage arrived with Mrs. Date: “SAI! SAI!” He ran to him but his fall took the best out of him; he was unconscious. Sage and Kento shouted his name many times but Sai wouldn’t come in nor make a silent sound of a breath. It was as if he was dead! Mrs. Date studied him, “Sage… you’re right. I should have known. Who did this? How come they’re doing this?”
Kento: “He’s innocent. Why would anyone do this? WHY?” He looked at his friend’s wounds. A lot of them in fact… Kento checked his heat but Sai’s forehead was boiling hot. Ryo and Rowen came dashing down the stairs. “SAI! Sai! Oh no, Sai!”

Ryo, again, took off his jacket and put it on him. Rowen took off his too. They were scared for Sai… at least they looked like it.
Sage’s mother suggested, “You should bring your son back home… though he does have a slight fever. It’s best to. I’m afraid if I hospitalize him, he’ll go out of control.”

Sage whined, “Could I stay with him?”

Mother: “Of course, we ALL will. Come on, I’ll call for absence and then we’ll load.”
“Your strength is worthless. Come and join us, for you’ll find the use of your destiny,” that voice alarmed.

Sai: “NO, I’m a person! Not a creature-alien! Ryo, Rowen, Sage, and Kento NEED me. I’m not useless…!”

The strange figure warned, “Beware Torrent, or we’ll control you as well as the others. And you’re the last to make surrender or join. You’ve a week… no more.”
Kento cried, “SAI. Get up! Please do Sai! Come on, open an eye.”

Sai kept on shivering, squirming, and also looked as if he were struggling.

Ryo came over and touched him on the shoulder, saying, and “Sai… don’t leave us I…” That decision was made by heart to him. He had to face the villain ALONE. And he was the only to make the choices and bring back the Ronins… if he could.
Mrs. Mori came out from the bathroom and called, “Kento! You have a phone call… Mr. Chin. The tub is ready. Sage, get me some ice. Ryo… Rowen, please help Sai get in. I’ll need to talk to Mrs. Date now.”

Ryo seemed really concern with what responsibility he had… enough to know he was melted--- sad.

Rowen showed a plain-uncooperative look and didn’t move really. He just helped Ryo lift Sai off the bed, while Ryo did the rest, dragging him.
