Chapter 2 "They're only minor scrapes"

The next day all the teachers wondered where Comet
was and Sage had to tell them where she was and that
he would bring her homework to her. The day went slow
for all of them, they couldn't get over what they saw
the day before.
After school they all came to visit her. They
thought that she'd have a few broken bones, but when
they saw the doctor he said:
"She lucky to be alive the car was traveling about
70 mph down that road."
"Does she have any broken bones doc?" asked Kento.
"No, she doesn't have anything broken, only minor
scrapes, but that's all. Like I said before she's
lucky."
He showed them to her room where they had to wait a
moment for the doctor to check her.
"Breathe in and breathe out." he said as he listen
to her breathe. "Your very lucky there Comet. Now if i
may take some blood for tests?"
She nodded.
After the doctor was finished he lift the room.
"Here your homework from your classes, I didn't want
you to get behind in class." said Sage handing her the
books and paperwork.
"Thanks Sage." she said trying to smile.
"So when do you think you'll be out of here?" asked
Mia.
"I'm hoping tonight because my cats need food and
water and I don't like for them to wonder about and
get hit by a car and besides they don't let animals in
the hospital."
"We can take care of them for you until you get
out." said Cye.
"Yeah, that would be great, but i don't think
Whiteblaze would mind a panther, tiger, cheetah and a
Leopard in the house." said Ryo.
"What you think about that Comet?" asked Yuli.
"Thanks guys, you're really someone I can trust. My
cats should be in front of the hospital. You can't
miss them, you'll probably find them at midnight. All
you have to say is that Heather told us to watch you
until she gets out. They should come."

After that, they left to do their homework. Then
they took turns watching for her cats. It was a little
after before they came and Kento was on watch. He went
to wake up the others and then they walked to where
they were. It was harder then what it sounded for the
cats didn't want to go. It was 12:30 a.m. and they
where still trying to get the cats, when Sage walked
up and told the cats to trust them, with that the cats
followed the boy back to the house.
