It was a week when Comet was let out of and the doctor refused that she live by herself, until she was 100% healthy.
"Why doc, why I feel 100% healthy, the blood test must be lying."
"Computers don't lie, now those nice boys that visit you said that they would watch over you and they will, please listen to me, I just don't want you to be sick, we may not have the medics you need.”
"Well, alright, if you say so, then I'll be a good girl and listen."
"Good, now they should be here any minute, so pack you bags and be ready."
She did as she was told and got ready. Rowen and Mia came to pick her up.
"Mia, you don't mind if I go by my house to get some stuff do you?" she asked on the way to their house.
"No, I don't mind as long as you bring one of the boys with you."
"I'll go with you Comet, if you don't mind at all." said Rowen.
"No I didn't."
When they got to the Mansion the panther named Stealth was playing with Whiteblaze and Yuli. The boys ran out to greet them.
"Your room not ready yet, because Kento didn't tell us until this morning." said Ryo.
"That's alright I have to go to my house to get some stuff. I'm taking Rowen with me so you don't have to worry." she said.
"Hey, you may need help bringing some of the stuff back so I'll come too." said Sage.
She told the two boys where she lived.
"So you live here." said Sage.
"Yeah I've been here since my family died. All but my brother Anubis, which you guys may know."
"You mean to tell us that Anubis is your brother!" said Sage shocked.
"Yeah, that's my brother." she said.
She gather the stuff and they drove all the way back, while she told them all about her family. When they got there her room was finished, they took her stuff
there and laid it down. They lift her alone to fix room the she liked it, she hooked her radio up and listened to some of The Cure while she moved her bed closer to the window. When she was done with that she open the door to let the four cats in, then went on
moving the room around. When she was done she sat down at the desk and started on her homework, she was half way down when there was a knock at the door.
"Come in." she said calmly.
The door opened half way and Kento pecked his head in.
"Sorry to disturb you, Comet, but dinner's ready when you are."
"Thank you, Kento, I'll be down in a minute."
She came down and ate then stayed far a little bit and talked. Then she went back upstairs finished her homework, took a shower, then went to bed ten minutes after everyone else.
The next day, she woke up, got dressed, and packed her school bag, then went out ahead of the others without breakfast, riding Stealth to school. All day
people came up mostly boys and said that they were glad to see that she was fine. She thanked them for their worrying and went on with her life. At lunch she came and sat between Cye and Ryo with just a can of pop for lunch. The others came and sat down.
"You must not eat a lot there, Comet." said Cye worried.
"Why you worried, Cye, I'm use to not having breakfast and not having lunch. I don't have time for them on school days. Only on weekends that's just because I need the energy when I workout." she said.
"That's a bad habit to get into, you don't do 100% at school." said Rowen.
She leaned forward, "Don't worry about me," she whispered.
"Yeah but still you..." he stopped as she looked at him with a smile.
For the first time since they met her she smiled, it was a smile no one should hide no matter what. They all looked at her and almost fainted.
"What," she said still smiling, "you act so surprised at me smiling."
"Well you never smiled in the past." said Kento.
"Hell must have frozen over somehow." said Cye.
"No hell didn't freeze over, it's just that Rowen amazed me by worrying about my habits, it's not everyday I get someone that worries about the way I eat."
Later after Science class, Comet and Sage went to their next class. On the way Sage and Comet talked.
"Why don't you smile a lot, Comet?"
"Well, think if you lived with nothing but cats you
would start to lose that feeling too."
"I would go insane if I lived with just cats."
"Every now and then Anubis comes and visits me so I'm not getting ready to kill the cats, it also gives me a partner to workout with."
"I'm just wondering, why you talk to you cats as if they talk to you, you’re not insane are you?"
She laughed as if it was a joke, "No, I'm not insane and yes they do talk to me in a mind link it helps keep mine open."
"Why can't I hear them talking?"
"Maybe you just don't have a open mind. It may be just because you’re worried about something or one." she said as she went to her seat.
After school Cye, Sage, Rowen, and Comet all sat down in a circle and did their homework together. After that Cye went in to the kitchen with Comet and they
began dinner, when they were done everyone sat down and ate, Kento had fifths.
A mouth had pasted when they had to take Comet in for a check up. the doctor took some blood and had it tested. It wasn't long before the doctor came back
with the results, she was 100% and could live by herself if she liked.
"Thanks Doc,” she said.
The doctor left.
"My house is destroy because of someone, it'll take me awhile before I can move back in, so if you guys don't mind I'd like to stay with you until then."
"Shot, forget your house you can live with us, you've been so great to us and treated us like family, and Whiteblaze, Stealth, Midnight, Twilight, and Tasha have been like brother and sisters to each other." said Kento with everyone agreeing with him
"I'll visit you guys everyday it's that I'm use to living with just cats it's too hard going back to the old ways and being out numbered by boys."
"It shouldn't be any harder then going back to the house." said a voice from behind her.
She turned around and hugged Anubis as if she hadn't seen him in forever.
"Long time no see my bro, where've you been?"
"Working that's all."
"Sorry that I didn't call bro, I've been going to school and everything else that I could do in one day."
"Call about what my favorite sis?"
"About being hit by a car and everything."
"I already know, the doc called me."
"Oh yeah that's right. Well lets get out of here guys and gal."
"Just one thing, Comet, are you or aren't you stay with us in the Mansion?" asked Ryo.
