 Added rules
They are just as important as the original.

New Rules for Sanctuary as of August 24, 2009

1. Once a month on the first, Sanctuary will send out a scheduled forum reminder activity. It is your job as a member to log into your account within one to two weeks of the forum reminder activity e-mail, and either make a post or more, or put your away message up to let us know you’ll be missing in action for a while.

2. Putting your away message up does not exclude you from posting though. At a set duration, members who have put their away message up must login and make a post twice a year. If for three years, that particular member whose post count is below 300 posts, and they have not made posts during those three years, it will be assumed that member has quit the forum and their account will be deleted.

As always they are welcome to rejoin. If the member has more than 300 posts with an away message up, and they have not logged in within five to six years to make even one post or more, (more is definitely better) their account may very well be deleted. It will be assumed that member has quit the forum and is not coming back.

3. Moderators on Sanctuary will be required to take a test in order to keep their position. This is to ensure you know the forum, the rules, and what standards apply. For those not wishing to take the test, they are to let me know so I can demote you back to regular member. Those who do take the test and pass will be required to choose a sub-moderator to replace them on days they cannot come to the board.

The sub-moderator will be required to take a lower level test. When applying to keep the position or to apply for the position, you will have two weeks to study the forum, all of the rules, and standardization. During your test time, you will not have access to the board and must e-mail me your test results. This is to minimize attempted cheating. And so you do not forget my e-mail address, add me to your contacts: firestorm01790 (at) yahoo.com.

4. New members who have recently registered and activated their accounts have four weeks from the time they registered and activated their account to post an introduction. As it is, before they can put an away message up, they must have three posts or more. Otherwise, I will delete their account should I see an away message up with less than three posts. Excluded are those who: Had a death in the family, a natural disaster, some form of tragedy, etc.

Lying about your situation will get you automatically banned. School and work are also not reasons to not come in and post at least once or twice a month. I have had school and a job at the same time plus babysitting and I still found time to login and make posts.

At the same time those new members who do have more than three posts and who need time away will need to make an attempt to post twice a year. If your post count is below 300, and you have not made a post for three years, and even if your away message is up, your account will be deleted, whether you are a recently registered member, or if you have registered months or years ago.

5. Twice a year I will go through the members list. Those with very few posts who have not logged in within three or more years will have their accounts deleted. As always they are welcomed to rejoin provided they stay active as much as possible.

6. Personal fighting between members is prohibited directly on the board. This does not mean you post your personal fight for everyone to see. Take it to the PM or you will be banned.

7. The RPG boards will be changing as well. I will be setting up character templates for the members to follow, and as members if you wish to RP again, you must update your character profiles to the new template and any new character you register. Character profiles must be approved and I will train staff willing to partake in this to know what is acceptable or not acceptable. What is not acceptable will need to be fixed. What is acceptable can be role-played.

8. New storylines will be coming to the board. Among them: Code Geass, Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Bleach, Ronin Warriors, and so on. There will also be regular original storylines as well. Members may also RPG their own role-plays.

9. Old RPG Storylines such as Four Pillars will be moved to a recycled section of the board and locked. Those who are interested in reviving Four Pillars will need to make a request in the RPG Storyline Request forum with a valid reason for the request. If there are enough members willing to participate, a new Four Pillars will be placed up entitled Four Pillars V2.0. For the time being I am taking away the Guild Positions from those who have them. Members who want to participate must apply for Guild leadership. (Caution: There may be a test).

10. Members are not to argue with staff or yell at them for any reason. This means if you are not happy that a staff member told you to fix a bio, or that you can’t post a personal fight between you and member C, you cannot yell at them, or get another member to do it for you. I don’t even care if you’re pissed off that the staff role-played a way you didn’t like. You do not argue with staff period. If you feel you are having trouble with staff, work it out with them through the PM in a mature adult fashion or come to me directly for further assistance.

11. Likewise, staff are also not to fight amongst one another for any reason at all. We are all adults and can handle it like adults.

These are the added rules onto Sanctuary. The original rules are still to be followed and there is no excuse for breaking any of them. I understand the occasional slip up as no one is perfect, but if a member breaks rules consistently, or raises trouble among members, or constantly argues with staff for any reason at all, their membership will be banned. Remember this isn’t Burger King. You won’t get it your way here.

When I see people around me, I'm always glad to realize I am not alone in this world.

I like to watch scary movies from time to time. Just so I can make fun of the girl who's stupidly running up the stairs instead of getting her father's gun and shooting the prick.. or running out the front door.

I plan to take over the world with my army of teddy bears and my wolf statues. Once I am crowned queen of the world, I will then proceed to eradicate the troublemakers from my empire, and I will indeed thank all the little people I had to step on to get there. : p
